Originally developed by EJA Ltd, the Nelsa guards are now being manufactured in the UK under licence by Procter Machine Guarding, so they are available on short deliveries and with Procter's renowned high standard of customer service.

Manufactured in an extensive variety of sizes to suit most machine tools used in the UK, the Nelsa range includes guards for milling machines, lathes, drills and grinding wheels. Pages on the Procter website at www.machinesafety.co.uk list the key features and benefits for each type of guard within the range, plus there is an indication of the classes of machinery for which the guards are suitable. In addition, visitors can see photographs and drawings of the guards, plus installation diagrams, tables of key dimensions, and information about electrical interlocks and other accessories.

In many cases the online information will be sufficient for the right guard to be specified for a particular machine tool. However, the full Nelsa catalogue can also be downloaded from the website, or visitors can submit information about the machine they wish to safeguard so that Procter's engineers can advise which guards and accessories are applicable.
