Fast Movers keep Airbus on the go
airbuscaselrg.jpgSpeed was vital when Procter Machine Guarding was called in to provide guards for plant used in producing wings for the Airbus family. Procters were contacted by the Airbus Filton factory on Tuesday, visited early on Wednesday, began drawings that afternoon and manufacture later that week.

The guards were designed with a horizontal sliding door, supported solely from the rear framework. The guards were pre-assembled and painted in Procter’s Bedwas plant and installed complete at Filton by midday on Saturday.

Albert Hope, Maintenance Manager at Filton was delighted. “Able to deliver within four days of our call, this is just the service we require”, he said.
