At Carmarthenshire College of Technology in Llanelli a flexible manufacturing system has been installed which incorporates two robots, a materials handling system, a CNC lathe and a machining centre. A Procter peripheral guard installation, with key-exchange arrangements, ensures that the robots are in a safe condition before entry to the cell is possible.
